These interactive installation aims to prompt the audience to reconsider how the overconsumption in replicating non-biodegradable, futile objects affects nature and disrupts global conditions. The artificial aspect of the work is exaggerated. The mechanic movement and noisy sound implies that humans cannot resurrect or reengineer other species when they are extinct.

The interaction created from the motion sensor and the bird flying in circle: We are in an interlocking and interdependent relationship with all beings. “Humans are masses of energetic activity operating in societies that represent incalculably complex electrical, chemical, and kinetic energy flows of production and consumption” (Pepperell, 2003, pp.51). This accentuates the co-creation of energy flow with other sources that operates within the society. If other sources are disrupted such as major climate crisis caused by human activities, it means the world’s evolving process is also irrupted.
